Doors close and doors open
Happy Humpday Hero!
How has your week been for you?
Feels like it was a bit of an intense weekend out there for all the Heroes on the journey to creating better. After riding the highs of our first speaking engagement and enjoying a moment to appreciate how far we had come - this Hero was reminded to stay vigilant and Diligent in my practice to prepare for everything but expect nothing!
It’s funny how it happens, you're humming along and start to feel comfortable and then BOOM, life throws a curveball your way. What do you do when the proverbial rug is pulled out from underneath you? To summarize - one of my business ventures and collaborations seems to be coming to an end. Something that was brought to me unexpectedly, gave me a lot over the last year and also was serving to keep me feeling quite stable moving forward. One side of this coin is fantastic, familiar and is a reflection of who I have been for a long time, on the other side of the coin, it has been a wonderful opportunity to catch a glimpse of who I have become and how far I have traveled from the victim I used to be…
When I received this news, at first I was a little taken back as again this change came out of the blue and unexpectedly. A younger, more villainous version of myself without the Heroic Method would have flown off the handle and whinged about the situation to everyone in the workplace in a feeble attempt to make myself feel better. That’s the thing about Heroes who have the Heroic Method in their tool kit… The challenge becomes an opportunity to remember His training and ask His Hero within for help.
SO…
to the practice I returned… Through getting into my body, noticing and acknowledging my internal state and what I felt, I grounded that turbulent energy and as the analytical noise subsided the Hero within me began to whisper…
‘When one door closes another opens my child…’
Now the Hero must trust in the guidance received and continue placing one foot in front of the other - walking the Heroic path. This statement is so true. It’s how the opportunity originally came to me in the first place and if I’m totally honest with you - it’s what has gotten me through what could be considered as humanity’s greatest challenge in its short history. All growth lay’s in the challenge. I didn’t want the opportunity at first, what is given is taken away. It has given me so much in terms of leadership, strength, confidence and clarity and so now I stand firm in the truth that everyone of my needs is already met and I just can allow it to be taken away.
I am excited to continue sharing the growth that will come from applying The Heroic Method in my daily life and show you how exciting that can be!
What is on the Horizon you ask? You will have to hang around see, that is something we can co create together!
Thanks for being here Hero, Thanks for being you - We see you!
Till Humpday arrives next week I bid you farewell…
