The Journey That Started It All
How Humpday Heroes was born — and why this journey belongs to all of us

My journey has taken me across many roads — through defining moments, unexpected challenges, career changes, leadership and management roles, business ventures, and entrepreneurial leaps. Each experience shaped me, stretched me, and quietly questioned who I thought I was meant to be.
Along the way, the people I met, the courses I undertook, and the books I read slowly helped me see beyond the walls of belief I had built around myself. Over more than four decades, I found myself searching for truth — trying to understand who I am, why I'm here, how I fit into this world, and how to live in alignment with my true nature and purpose.
Deep down, I always knew I was born a hero — meant to live the hero of my own life, express my unique genius, and make my mark in the world. But like so many of us, I was shaped by my environment, conditioned to become who others needed or expected me to be. Over time, that conditioning caused me to forget the hero I truly was.
Still, there was always a quiet stirring within — a persistent pull to break free from those invisible shackles, reclaim my true self, and walk my own path.
When I discovered the Hero's Journey, everything finally made sense. I saw it for what it truly is — a timeless blueprint for transformation. A path that takes us from the ordinary and mundane into purpose, authenticity, and meaning.
At the heart of every person's story — whether in life or in business — there is a moment when the hero hears the call to adventure. A moment that invites change, growth, and the courage to create impact.
I heard mine when I realised that success without purpose is hollow… and that true fulfilment doesn't come from rising alone, but from helping others rise as they rediscover their own power and potential.
Humpday Heroes exists because this journey shouldn't be walked in isolation — and because no one should have to forget who they are in order to succeed.
What I've come to personally experience and see is this journey unfolds in stages — beginning with a pause and reset, deepening through support and transformation, and ultimately leading to impact, legacy, and contribution.
Humpday Heroes exists to guide others through that same journey — not by telling them who to be, but by walking alongside them as they take their next honest step.
If this story resonates, it's likely because part of it is already yours.
The question isn't whether you're on a hero's journey — it's where you are on the path right now.
You Become The Hero When You Access Your Most Natural State
When you choose to live through your Inner Hero each and every day, you become the captain of your ship. You begin using the most powerful parts of your being, you create vision that sees only solutions where once there were only problems.
Life becomes a near constant state of coherence which allows for play, curiosity and growth as you celebrate expressing your Best Self, as you win every moment.

What Is a Humpday Hero?
A purpose-driven individual who refuses to stay stuck in the mid-week, mid-life, or mid-career "hump" where many people quietly lose momentum, meaning, and belief.

They are not superheroes in the traditional sense. They are everyday leaders who hear an inner call to do with their matter—and choose courage, alignment, and contribution over comfort, conformity, or hollow success.
A Humpday Hero:
- —Has stepped away (or is stepping away) from the safety of the 9-to-5 or hustle-at-all-costs mentality
- —Feels the tension between who they are and what the world's systems demand
- —Is tired of manipulative marketing, algorithm dependency, and performative success
- —Still believes in impact, integrity, and purpose—but knows they can't build alone anymore
At their core, Humpday Heroes are on the Hero's Journey in modern form:
Internal Villains
They face doubt, overwhelm, isolation, and invisibility.
External Obstacles
They encounter fragmented tech stacks, noisy platforms, and overwhelm.
And instead of quitting or conforming, they choose to rise consciously, seeking clarity, allies, and systems that support their values.
A Humpday Hero is someone who says:
"There has to be a better way to build, grow, and contribute – without losing myself."
